Cedar Rapids Kernels

Yes, Cedar Rapids has Minor League Baseball! Playing in the Midwest League, The Cedar Rapids Kernels is a Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Cedar Rapids has been affiliated over the years with various teams.  The Cedar Rapids team hasn't always been called the "Kernels".  In the past, our team usually carried the team name of their Major League the team was affiliated with.
